Courtney Bowler
DNP, APRN-CNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
Courtney is a doctorally prepared, dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner with advanced training from Postpartum Support International in the management of perinatal mental health conditions. Courtney’s dual certification with advanced training enhances recognition, treatment, and coordination of care for co-occurring mental health conditions and physical comorbidities to promote whole-person wellness.
Courtney has built a 20-year career across the full spectrum of the medical field: serving as an Army Combat Medic, including a deployment during Operation Enduring Freedom, caring for critically ill patients as a Cardiothoracic and Transplant ICU nurse, supporting psychiatric patients in an inpatient facility as a psychiatric nurse, and practicing as both an urgent care and primary care nurse practitioner across the lifespan.
For her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, Courtney graduated with Top Honors and received the Academic Excellence Award. Her doctoral project targeted reducing postpartum maternal mortality through enhanced screening in the year following childbirth, reflecting her conviction that health promotion and disease prevention are the foundation of lifelong wellness.
Courtney founded Halidom to fill a gap in compassionate care for all mental health conditions including the specialized care for birthing people, mothers, and women’s mental health. Courtney brings that same commitment to excellence to Halidom Psychiatric Health & Wellness. She’s passionate about caring for patients across the lifespan, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to advocate for their own health.
When she’s not in clinic or diving into clinical research, Courtney cherishes time with her family and serving the community she grew up in.
